A Waimairi County man was notified to the Health Department last week as having brucellosis (undulant fever) contracted from raw milk obtained from a friend’s farm in the country, the Medical Officer of Health (Dr L. F Jepson) said yesterday. I>e matter had been reported to the Department of Agriculture. The only other notifiable disease case reported in the Christchurch health district last week was one. of pulmonary tuberculosis. The patient was a city man. A girl of 18 months was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital on Saturday after drinking kerosene. She was discharged yesterday.
