Freezing Workers’ Presidency

Only three candidates will contest the vacant presidency of the Otago-Southland Freezing Workers’ Union, after the withdrawal of hi« nomination by Mr S W. Cameron As a result of the witharawal, the counting of votes had been extended from June 24 to 26. Mr D Thomas, the Labour Department returning officer said yesterday
The remaining nominations are those of Messrs E R Clifford. W B Richards and K R Shaw.
