Cholmondeley Home
Sir, —I was very interested to read the letter by Mr K L. Purchas. I was a member of the Ministering Children’s League in New Brighton-at that time and it fell to my lot to carry the M.C.L. banner along Union street to the children’s home that had been built through the efforts of the M.C.L. I have always contended this was the forerunner of the present Cholmondeley Home.—Yours, etc.,
E. B. MILES. Ashburton, June 7, 1963.
