CONSTITUTION OF W.D.F.F.
Proposed alterations to the constitution of the Women’s Division of Federated Farmers will be discussed at the Dominion conference in Wellington, nex’ month. The proposals were explained to the Canterbury provincial executive of the division yesterday, by a Dominion vice-president. Mrs M Irwin, of Franklin Mrs Irwin also emphasised the need for close liaison with Federated Farmers The provincial president (Mrs I. Fraser) welcomed Mrs Irwin with flowers Results of the Wool Board’s knitting competition for the Canterbury provincial area were announced as follows:—Hals well branch 1. Darfleid branch 2. These entries will compete with winners from other provincial areas.
