(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY. June 9. Takings of approximately £17,090 at yesterday’s Rugby League first test were a record for a match between New Zealand and Australia. The crowd was 48.330. Figures in the first test tour of Australia in 1959 on New Zealand's last tour were: Crowd. 38,613; receipts £14,564 10s. The record crowd for an Australia-New Zealand match was 56,376 at the first test in 1952.
