‘Explosive’ Situation
(N.Z. Prtst Awi.—Cepyripht) WASHINGTON, June 8. The situation in Indonesia had reached a point “where it was explosive, where there were threats of armed attack, with the danger of that war spreading, and the probability of Indonesian reliance on China and on the Soviet Union,” the American Ambassador to the United Nations, Mr Adlai Stevenson, told a Congressional Committee.
