TRAINING FELLOWSHIP IN RADIOTHERAPY THE Auckland Hospital Board invites applications from suitably qualified Medical Officers eligible to qualify for the status of Senior Registrar or Specialist for the position of— SENIOR RADIOTHERAPY REGISTRAR OR SPECIALIST. RADIOGRAPHY DEPARTMENT, AUCKLAND HOSPITAL. THE SALARY prescribed by the Hospital Employment (Medical Officers) Regu'ations for this position is:— (a) Specialist—£ 1970 - £2340 per annum by annual ncrements of £ll5. £ll5, £146. <b) Senior Registrar, £1470 - £1520 - £1595 - £1670 per annum, plus £2OO living-out allowance. The appointee’s status, commencing salary and maximum within these scales will be determined in accordance with qualifications and experience. In addition to this salary the Auckland Division. British Empire Cancer Campaign Society, will award a Fellowship valued at £5OO per annum for a period oi 2'2 years while the appointee is undergoing training at Auckland Hospital and in the United Kingdom. The appointment is for a term of 18 months" training at Auckland Hospital to be followed by 12 months’ further training in the United Kingdom. The appointee will also be awarded a Bursary to enable him to undertake this further training in the United Kingdom and to obtain higher qualifications In this specialty.
