Churchill Not Coming

WELLINGTON. May 30.
Sir Winston Churchill has declined an invitation to visit New Zealand next summer.
In a letter released by the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) today Sir Winston Churchill said that unfortunately his arrangements and the distance involved, made it impossible. Sir Winston Churchill said he had great affection and regard for . "the gallant people of New Zealand” and he would have liked very much to come here
