N.Z.’s Biggest Display

Six hundred and thirty-six pigeons were entered in the New Zealand Homing Pigeon Federation’s annual championship, which opened yesterday in the Fanciers' Hall. Selwvn street.

Six pigeons from Australia were In the show, which is the largest ever held In New Zealand. Most of the birds are from local clubs, but other clubs in the South Island have entered 120 birds.
