Cyclone Deaths
N Z Press Assn.—Cupynqhl >ACCA (East Pakistan' May 30 One hundred and iwenty-three persons ire so far known to have lost then lives in i cyclone which lashed Chittagong and the Ba\ of Bengal yesterday. The figure is expected to rise when communications with outlying districts are restored.
I'he cyclone, gusting to 100 miles an hour, cut communications, destroyed thousands of mud houses and made thousands of people homeless. Three sea-gomg ships broke lheir moorings and ran aground.
Chittagong airport was reported under five feet of water.
