Friends Of Soviet Spy Punished

Three high Red Army officers and a scientist, who befriended the spy, Oleg Penkovsky, have received “severe disciplinary punishments.” Among them is the army's artillery chief. Marshal Sergei Varenfsov, who has been dismissed anil lowered in rank.
