WELLINGTON, May 30.
Net profit of Credit and Finance, Ltd., Christchurch financier, for the year ended March 31, 1963, was £2693, compared with £2273 for the previous year. The profit was struck after providing £1615 for tax (£1194 last year). The preference dividend, raised from 5 per cent to 6 per cent., takes £3OO (£250) and the unchanged 10 per cent, ordinary dividend takes £2OOO, leaving £563 (£170) to be carried forward.
Share capital remains at £5OOO preference and £20.000 ordinary. Total shareholders’ funds are £30.563 (£30,170).
