Smuggler Fined £50
(NJS. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 29. Ho Chi. aged 40, a motorman’s assistant, was fined £5O when he was convicted by Mr R. D. Jamieson. S.M. in the Magistrate's Court today on a charge of smuggling a transistor radio at Auckland on April 6. Ho Chi had previously pleaded not guilty to the charge. Mr J. H. C. Larsen appeared for the Collector of Customs and Ho Chi was not represented.
