HEAVY SEAS
Trawlers Put Into Westport
(N.Z. Press Association) WESTPORT. May 29. Heavy seas off the West Coast forced two Wellington trawlers to put into Westport for shelter this afternoon. The crews of the trawlers Ho Ho and Seaway reported heavy seas last night and this morning over most of the fishing ground area between Westport and Karamea. The vessels. which left Wellington on Monday, will put to sea when the weather eases. Seas 9ft high were running at the Westport bar when the trawlers entered port today.
