CITIZENSHIP CERTIFICATES
1683 Granted In Year New Zeeland citizenship was granted to 1683 persons in the year to March 31, 1963 Certificates of naturalisation were granted to 747 persons and certificates of registration —for British subjects—to 626 adults and 310 children, says the Government StatisticianNaturalisation certificates were one fewer than in the previous year but 88 more Hungarians applied for naturalisation. Notices of intention to apply for naturalisation came from 688 aliens. The number of certificates of registration issued to both children and adults, including those granted to wives of New Zealand citizens, decreased.
