NUCLEAR TEST PROTEST
C.N.D. Thanks Prime Minister A letter sent to the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) by the New Zealand Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament thanks him for his statement protesting at the proposed French nuclear tests' in the South Pacific. The letter said the organisation appreciated the clear statement made by Mr Holyoake of the dangers involved in continued testing, the national secretary (Mrs M. Woodward) said in Christchurch last evening. The campaign supported the protest and the terms in which it had been made, the letter said.
