RADIO TIME
Two Parties Refused (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 28. At the last General Election two parties were not given the opportunity to state their policies over the radio, Mr A. O’Halloran, chairman of the Radio and TV Freedom League, said today. x The league will write to the chairman of the N.Z.B.C asking that all political parties putting up candidates at the next General Election be given time on both radio and television to state their platform '
Mr O’Halloran said that during the last election the Communist Party and an independent Maori group both applied for radio time, but were not given an opportunity to put their views.
