Mr D. L, Perry has been appointed secretary of the Automobile Association • Auckland), to succeed Mr E. T. Brown, who will retire soon. At 33. Mr Perry will be one of the youngest secretaries in the New Zealand A.A. movement.—(P.A.) Mr C. G. Lakemain. the new postmaster at Hokitika, who was formerly postmaster at Pa tea. South Taranaki, has taken up his appointment. The president (Mr A M Linton) and the secretary (Mr C. L. Bishop) of the New Zealand Municipal Association completed a tour of the southern part of the South Island yesterday. The Mayor •Mr G. Manning), several councillors and executive officers of the City Council met them last evening.
