Outward Bound Founder’s Gift
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 43 A gift of £5OO to the Outward Bound Trust of New Zealand has been made by the British shipowners. Alfred Holt and Company, who initiated the Outward Bound movement in England during the last war. The first Outward Bound school in England was established by the Holt shipping interests to provide special training for junior officers and young seamen in their ships.
