Young Wives’ Reunion.—A reunion of past and present members marked the thirteenth anniversary of the Heathcote ‘ Young Wives’ Fellowship recently. A buffet dinner, served by present members, was followed by a short church service and a social evening. Mrs M Ogilvie was the speaker for the evening. Old Suitcases for Brides.— A London hire service is now renting out battered suitcases to bridal couples going on their honeymoon. This obviates the tell-tale look of brand-new baggage associated with newly-married couples on their first holiday together. White is High Fashion.— American women regard a white coat or a white suit as a status symbol this summer. At a recent spring collection in New York, shown by one of the leading designers in the United States, all the best-dressed spectators wore white. White was also featured as the summer’s highfashion colour by this designer, who teamed it with black, navy, or lime green.
