U.S. DANCER WINS SCHOLARSHIP
(N.Z Press Association) AUCKLAND. May 13. A 17-year-old American girl, dancing competitively for the first time, won Auckland’s North Shore competitions senior ballet scholarship on Saturday night. She is Miss Lesandre Bailey from Santa Barbara. California, who now lives in Mount Eden. Auckland. Her parents intend' to settle here and she hopes to be a ballerina.
