‘Bring Back Decency’
(N.Z.P. A.-Reuter—Copyright) NEW YORK, May 11. A white South African woman whose passport was recently confiscated appealed to the United Nations yesterday to bring “sense and decency” back to her country. Miss Mary Benson, who now works in Britan’s Africa Bureau, and holds a British passport, told the Special Committee on Apartheid: "I am proud to be the first South African to be given a hearing.”
