(N.Z.P.A.-Heuter—Copyright) GLASGOW, May 9 The soccer international between Scotland and Austria was abandoned after 79 minutes yesterday because of dirty play Scotland was leading 4-1, after being 3-0 ahead at halftime. Two Austrians had previously been sent off whan the referee decided to abandon the game. Most of the near-100.000 crowd were so stunned at the decision that they stayed put for 10 minutes. The crowd dispersed only after an official police announcement that the game had been abandoned.
It was the first time that a soccer International in Britain has ended because of foul play
