Swimming OTAGO CENTRE'S SUSPENSION
(N.Z. Press Association) • DUNEDIN. May 9. The Otago Centre had not been notified of its suspension from the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association for its alleged failure to pay their fees. the president (Mr K. Leckie) said today. This followed a recent Press Association report on the N.Z.A.S.A.'s decision to suspend the centre. Mr Leckie said the fees for the last season were posted to the association last Friday afternoon and should have been in the hands of the national secretary by Monday morning at the latest. The association meeting was held on Monday night.
