Gift For Primate
A cloth of gold cope and mitre entirely made by hand will be presented to the Primate and Archbishop of New Zealand (the Most Rev
N. A. Lesser) in Wellington on Saturday. Altar servers of the province of New Zealand of the Anglican Church which includes Polynesia and Melanesia are making the gift. The occasion will be the altar service festival which this year is being held in St Thomas’s Church. Newtown. It has been organised by the Guild of Servants of the Sanctuary.— (P.A.)
