CONFERENCE IN HOBART
Professor Rastrick To Attend
Examination problems, honours courses, engineering research, and other matters will be discussed during the biennial conference of Australian and New Zealand professors of engineering in Hobart from May 21 to 24. The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Canterbury University (Professor R. J. Rastrick) will present a paper at the conference, to open discussion on design in
engineering. He will leave for Hobart on May 18, returning on May 28. Professors attending the conference will afterwards visit pulp and paper mills, hydro-electric projects, and other Tasmanian industries.
