MUSTERER KILLED
Horse Slipped Into Gorge (N.Z. Press Association) WANGANUI, May 8. A man was killed while mustering cattle on the D. F. Gorringe estate at Kawhatau. near Mangaweka, today. He Xvas: Barry Arnold Hausman, aged 28. married, with two children. He was employed as a shepherd on the estate. Mr Hausman's horse slipped on a steep papa face and fell 30 to 40 feet down a gorge into a creek. The manager of the estate, Lester Stanley Magnusse, who was mustering cattle with Mr Hausman, found his body in a hole below a small waterfall. The horse was found caught up in vines near the water’s edge. It was not injured.
