Second Rank Issues Show Sharp Gains
New Zealand shares showed more than two rises for every fall in trading yesterday'with second rank shares showing the sharpest gains. Rises and falls by overseas shares were in ’balance. Among New Zealand issues to rise sharply were Dental and Medical, Fashion Holdings, Gordon and Gotch. and North Shore Motors. P.T.Y. firmed 9d, Claude Neon Is and McLeod Is 2d ex dividend.
