TRIBUTE TO MR NASH
IN Z. Press Association) .WELLINGTON. May 7. The Laboui Party conference paid tribute to the former Leader of the Opposition. Mr Nash, today and presented him with a gold life membership badge “Thank you. Walter, for a good job well done." said the party's president, Dr. A M. Finlay, presenting the badge to Mr Nash. The conference stood and sang “For He’s a Jolly Good Fellow." Mr Nash was warmly praised by Dr. Finlay for his lifetime of service to Labour. Dr. Finlay announced the national executive would invite members to contribute towards a presentation to Mr Nash.
