American Motors is to spend 42 million dollars in the next year expanding and modernising the plants producing engines and transmission parts for Ramblers. The company hopes to be producing 700,000 Ramblers a year by 1964. ¥ ¥ ¥
A special ceremony has been held at the Isuzu Motors, Ltd. plant at Fujisawa to celebrate the production of the 50,000 th Hillman in Japab, where the cars are manufactured under licence. ¥ ¥ ¥
Sweden is considering making it compulsory for pedestrians to wear reflecting armbands, belts or other accessories at night.
