Receptionist’s Manner
(N.Z. Press Association)
WELLINGTON, May 1. The entire image of a business could be ruined by a girl receptionist whose manner was surly or who looked as if she had had a night out. said the principal of Wellington Polytechnic, Mr B. W. Potter.
Mr Potter, addressing a Wellington Chamber of Commerce examinations prizegiving. said staffs’ neat appearance was essential to a business. “I know we bosses are ‘squares,’ but correct dress matters quite a lot,” he said.
Date and Lemon Layer Cakes (very nice!), are the “Special” today, for this week-end, at ETHNE'S CAKE SHOP, 125 Cashel street. —Advt.
