Big First Round Win By Wallabies
Wallabies Red, last year's runner-up. crushed Avonside. 12-0. in the first round of the winter table tennis competition. Other winninig teams were Eagles and Selwyn 11, while Wallabies Green and University drew. 6-6. Six players came through the singles unbeaten—M. A. CoX, K. F. Stevenson, and N. B. Radford '(Wallabies Red). J. Armstrong (Eagles). T. R. Flint (Selwyn ID, and D. D. M. Stewart (University). Cox, Stevenson, and Radford also won their doubles matches.
