‘Anglers Better In South’
(N.Z. Press Association) INVERCARGILL, May 2. North Island anglers had not developed the same technique of catching brown trout as anglers in the South Island, Mr C. M. Broad, secretary of the Southland Acclimatisation Society, said today. Mr Broad, commenting on the proposed elimination of brown trout from Rotorua waters in favour of rainbow trout, said rainbow trout were easier to catch.
