Rise In Membership Reported
“There has been a considerable increase in membership during the last year, so that we now have 236 members,” said the president of the Christchurch division of the Diabetic Association (Mr R. G. Harris) at its annual meetng. “A branch was established at Ashburton last year, and it now has a membership of 35,” said Mr Harris. “During the coming year we will establish a branch in Timaru.” Officers elected were:— president, Mr Harris; vicepresidents, Messrs G. M Woods and M. Sears; secretary, Miss E. M. Hart; committee, Mesdames O. Bell, M fhompson, M. Hallet, and T. R Spain, and Messrs O. Bell, M Thompson, G. T. Garrard, J. H. Templeton, B. W. Eades and G A. Bull.
