BLACK BULL FOR WEEDONS STUD
Mr A. McArthur, of Weedons, has bought for his Aberdeen Angus stud ■ rising two-year-old bull from the Brackenfield herd of Mr F. A. Elliott, of Seddon. The bull is Brackenfield Eland Eric, which is a heifer's first calf. By an imported bull, Balgour Jumbo Eric, from a daughter of Jago 45th of Mangatoro (purchased for 2560gns by Mr Elliott), Brackenfield Eland Eric is descended from Jipsy of Waiterenui. a well-known cow of the Eclypta family and carries three crosses of the imparted Waiterenui herd sire. Eland of Bleaton.
The transaction was handled by the stud stock department of Delgety and New Zealand Loan, Ltd-
