A 12-year-old boy was convicted on 13 charges which included interference with motor-cars and theft when h« appeared before Mr M B Scully. S.M., in the Childrens' Court, Wellington, on Wednesday Seven other children faced charges ranging from the use of obscene language to breaking and entering The 12-year-old boy. who was placed under the supervision of the child welfare officer for two years and ordered to live where directed, appeared on the following charges:—Theft of a camera valued at £33; five charges of interfering with motor-cars; two charges of breaking and entry while alone; a joint charge of breaking and entry with a 10-year-old boy; three charges of theft of toys to a value of £1 15s lid; theft of a fountain pen valued at 4s lid
