Ten girls from New Zealand and Australia were scouring London last night for a blue and brown Ford Zodiac sedan, the “Daily Mail" reported today Their .one desire was to get their hands on the man who stole it, according to the newspaper. It said they were all set to go off in two cars on a 14-week trip to Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East. Then they found the Ford, loaded with luggage belonging to five of the girls, had disappeared during the night from Nevern road, Earls Court, London, The £BO a-head tour had been organised by two New Zealanders. Mr David Nathan and Mr Lloyd Hill, both 22. said the “Daily Mail.” The 10 girls had given up their jobs in London to do the trip. Last night they set out in the remaining car to search for the missing vehicle. An Australian, Miss Margot O’Laughlin, aged 21, said: “Apart from the clothes I’m wearing, I have lost everything.
“The trouble is that we planned a very tight budget. Every day that passes we are spending money which should go on the trip.” With her were Miss Celia Leary, aged 29, Miss Judy Moulder, aged 26, Miss Kathryn Arthurs, aged 23, all of New Zealand, and Miss Brone Hollard, aged 22, and Miss Pamela Wutke, aged 23, of Australia, said the “Daily Mail.”
Mr Nathan said all of the purty had left the rooms and flats expecting by now to be well on their way. .
