Citizenship For Churchill?

WELLINGTON, April 18. “We’ll have to give consideration to it,” said the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) at his press conference early this afternoon when asked by a reporter whether the Government would consider amending its citizenship laws to enable Sir Winston Churchill to become a New Zealand citizen without the 12 months residential qualification.
"I had not thought of it. It is a very interesting thought,” said Mr Holyoake.
