(From Out Own Reporter) WELLINGTON, April 17. The Minister of Overseas Trade (Mr Marshall) tonight confirmed that Britain had asked New Zealand how she felt about the proposal by Denmark that the United Kingdom should waive Commonwealth preference rights on butter shipments.
“We have been consulted and we have replied, but it is still a matter of negotiation and it would not be wise to disclose to the Danes what we have said to the United Kingdom,” said Mr Marshall.
