UNDERGROUND BEADQUARTERS. —Workmen survey for the building foundations in one of the chambers inside the Cheyenne mountains, Colorado, which will be the underground headquarters for the North American Air Defence Command. The headquarters, due for completion in 1965, will contain 11 all-steel buildings, some as high as 60ft.
