Axe Victims Off Serious List
(N.Z. Press Association) PALMERSTON N„ April 17. Four victims of the axe incident that occurred at Mangatainoka on Sunday had been removed from the seriously ill list, the Palmerston North Hospital reported tonight. They are Mrs Maggie Hughes, aged 84; Mrs Mina Vibert, aged 32; Heather Vibert, aged seven; and lan Vibert, aged five.
AU the victims are suffering from severe head injuries. Hospital authorities said their conditions were improving and comfortable.
