FOR TOKYO OLYMPICS.—A model of the huge national indoor gymnasium which will be used for the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo. Preliminary work has already started on the project and is expected to be finished in August next year. The building, the roof of which will be supported by two pillars from above, will cost £2,250,000, and will seat 19,006 spectators.
