Notifiable Diseases
An 18-month-old girl in the Christchurch Hospital with salmonellosis was one of the three cases of notifiable diseases reported in the Christchurch health district last week. Yesterday the girl’s condition was reported to be improving. The other cases were one of pulmonary tuberculosis in a Christchurch woman and one of food poisoning in a 70-year-okl woman in the Waimairi county. There was one notification of industrial disease, a case of industrial dermatitis in a Kaiapoi woman.
