DERAILMENT OF WAGGONS
Other Trains Delayed (N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, April 16. All passengers on the south-bound midnight express to Dunedin last night were brought to Dunedin by bus from Waitati after the derailment at Purakanui of three waggons on a goods train about 3 a.m. today. All trains from the time of the accident until just before noon were delayed by the derailment.
The only other passenger train affected was the relief express, which left Dunedin just before noon today. It w r as held up about 20 minutes
The line was cleared about 11.30 a.m.
