MINOR FIRES
Fire caused slight damage to a small shed owned by John Gunn, Ltd., at 36 Blenheim road, about 1.8 p.m. yesterday. The fire was caused by petrol used for cleaning being ignited by an incinerator. Units from the Sockbum and Sydneham fire stations attended.
An oven fire in a house occupied by Mr William Miller. at 36 Emmett street, Shirley, was attended by a unit from the St Albans station at 1.13 p.m. There was no damage.
