REUNION OF McLachlans

Clan To Meet In City The centennial celebrations of the New Zealand branch of the McLachlans will be held in Christchurch this week-end. About 475 members of the clan from all parts of New Zealand are expected to attend. The first McLachlan to reach New Zealand—2l-year-old John McLachlan—arrived in Lyttelton aboard the Sebastapool from the Firth of Clyde in 1861 He was joined in 1863 by a brother.
