Link By News Association (NJZ. Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 15. New Zestend's university newspapers will be linked by a news association. Announcing this yesterday. Mr M. J. White, president of the new University Press Association, said the six papers would receive up-to-’lm-miimite news releases from overseas. From an office in Wellington the association would collate news from foreign student sources and circulate items to constituent newspapers. Each universi'ty would rush its own news to Wellington to be circulated around New Zealand and overseas. A three-language release is planned for overseas dispatches. The service is modelled on •the United States system, in which a New York bureau makes releases each day to more than 50 student newspapers. some of which are dailies. Most New Zealand university newspapers are issued fortnightly.
