Drowned In Water Race
(N.Z. Press Association) ASHBURTON, April 15 An elderly Mid-Can terbury farmer was drowned in an irrigation race at Laghmor. near Ashburton, last evening He was: James Liddell Robb, aged about 70, married, with one son. 4 is believed he slipped and fell while attempting to fill a bucket from the race When he failed to return home about 7 pm., a search was organised and his body was found lying in the water.
