Metric Weights Wanted
(N Z.P A.-Reuter—Copyright) MELBOURNE. April '5 A call for a change-over to the metric system of weights and measures is made in the latest service letter of the Victorian Employers' Federation. The letter said that, now the Government had swung to decimals, the time was to take the next logical step Metric weights and measures could be adopted from sector to sector of the economy without creating great difficulty, it said.
