Mid-Canterbury W.D.F.F.— The Mid-Canterbury section of the Women’s Division of toe Federated Farmers had a membership of 635 in 17 branches, said the retiring president of the provincial executive (Mirs R Thomas) in her report art the annual meeting recently. She said that between 200 and 300 members from all parts of Canterbury attended the inter-provincial conference held in Ashburton during February. Mrs Thomas said that branches organised district collections for Corso, the Freedom from Hunger campaign, the Blind Institute, and adso made a donation to the Leper Fund.
